An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join a highly regarded Fit-out and Refurbishment Company on a permanent basis to oversee current and upcoming CAT A & CAT B projects within the West Midlands.

The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

• Overseeing projects from conception to completion
• Weekly visits to site to ensure the team are working in a timely and effective manner
• Monitoring materials and purchasing when needed
• Acquisition of Labour
• Carry out risk assessments
• Liaising with clients and managing expectations
• Dealing with enquiries from new and existing clients
• Work closely with sub-contractors
• Helping with tenders and completing requirements
• Monitoring KPI targets and ensuring they are met
• Survey planned works
• Conduct completion walk through with client
• Complaint resolution for customers and clients.
• Full P&L responsibility of projects
• Managing up to 5 projects
• Responsible for the wider team

The successful Senior Contracts Manager will need:

• CSCS card – in date
• SMSTS
• Experience managing large teams within a construction environment
• Well versed in the construction and building industry
• Excellent organisation skills as you will be managing multiple projects
• Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Be a creative problem solver
• To build strong relationships with existing and future clients
• Well presented with a smart appearance
• Full UK Driving licence
• Longevity and consistency with career is advantageous

Experience in the following sectors would be desirable:

• Office-Fit out
• Refurbishments
• 3 years’ experience as a Senior Contracts Manager

The successful Senior Contracts Manager will be given a company vehicle/car allowance, 20 days annual leave, all bank holiday and time off over the festive period. The business is undergoing growth which is really positive in this current climate and in turn are massively gaining exposure as the leading building contractor.
