Job Title: Heat Pump & Gas Engineer
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 (rising to £45,000 after 6-month probation)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service)
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Liverpool

About the Role

Zeal are seeking a qualified and experienced Heat Pump and Gas Engineer to join a rapidly growing energy and echo company. The successful candidate will confidently carry out all aspects of domestic plumbing and gas work, including installations, breakdowns, and maintenance. You must take pride in delivering work to a high standard and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires someone who is knowledgeable, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a strong team.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete domestic plumbing, heating, gas, and heat pump installations, servicing, and maintenance Diagnose and repair plumbing and heating system breakdowns
• Ensure all work meets high quality and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Manage workload and time efficiently
• Liaise frequently with the office and management team regarding scheduling and job progress

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ qualified experience
• Strong knowledge of heat pumps
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to confidently undertake a wide range of tasks independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high attention to detail
